I painted the entire black/grey "atmosphere" area with my left hand. This is my sad effort to become ambitextrious. Results inconclusive. :)

I think creating environment with light and dark is hard. I 'm trying to see better nowadays. With my lack of understanding,I think that it is hard to pull off with using white personally. The center of the painting seems far from distance. Maybe I think this way since I was reading Turner's.
Thanks for the comment Yoojong. It is difficult, but it is nice to take advantage of the white canvas without having to "paint" in any white. It is easy (and pleasing to me) to build the darker parts with layers, kind of like in drawing, rather than paint in the white. I was trying to go for a radiating feeling, simulating an PET scan injection into the arm.
